Laser 2

Today Claus rented a Laser 2 from Iowa State University. The Zumas were being repaired. Stepping the mast of the Laser 2 was quite easy if he had not lost the main halyard in the mast. The rigging was setup so that the main halyard line was going through the mast. The rigging of the boat seem to be not the best. The jib felt like a big loose sheet that couldn't be trimmed well.

Ada Hayden has quite the nice lake to sail on. Not only is it conveniently in town but it also has a nice large dock. Unfortunately the lake is a bit to small for be to be on. Although it would be fun to sail there sometime as a joke.

Melissa, Oskar and Heidi watched from ashore. They stopped by to bring a coat hanger to fish out the halyard from the mast through the little hole. In all they have been a life saviors as Claus had major problems with it. Oskar really badly wanted to sail along but unfortunately he didn't had his life vest with him.
